Everyone here is so kind and great at making you feel calm and comfortable. Dr Thomas Backus is the nicest dentist and SO gentle I have never had fillings feel as painless as with him. Tara is an amazing assistant, I am always so happy when she is my dental assistant of the day! The massage chair in the waiting area is also such a nice touch

Always a great experience coming here. Doctor Backus is great at his job. He does it efficiently. He’s very cool too. As well as the hygienist and dental assistants. Everyone here is nice, all the way from the front desk to chomper cleaning deck hands. I’m grateful to have found them.

My wife referred me to Lackamas Dental after she went in for a routine cleaning. I found them to be professional while demonstrating a caring attitude for the customers they serve. Cindy my Hi-genist was with the aid of the photographic equipment available to show me in detail the exact condition of my mouth. She was very careful in examining my teeth resulting in slight discomfort. They were up front with full cost both the insurance coverage and mine. Such a very friendly and welcoming staff. They fit me in for an appt to have a tooth pulled. They were very comforting and explained everything. The Dr was quick and careful with getting the tooth out. This was a 1st time appt and I will be going back when needed.

I have been going here off and on for about 15 years.. i've never had a bad experience, and Maggie goes above and beyond to be wonderful! I know people "hate the dentist" but I always enjoy my cleanings with her! -Thank you!
