I cannot say enough about Dr. Patel and his entire staff. Dr. Patel was able to restore both eyes with such impeccable precision and skill. My eyes were not only heavy and visually impaired that brought daily inflammation. I have never felt better. The surgery went well with minimal discomfort. From the start Dr. Patel and his staff have been nothing but professional and so kind. I went into my surgery with a lot of anxiety. Just nervous to have surgery. My ophthalmologist recommended that I get tested for vision improvement due to having very heavy eyelids. After testing, she recommended that I speak to Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel tested me as well and suggested that the surgery would definitely improve my vision. So the date was set. Dr Rakesh Patel is very passionate about his ocular plastic surgery practice. I believe Dr Patel has a commitment to excellence and is detail oriented. He has a very calm and kind demeanor that puts you at ease. I feel very fortunate to have had him perform my upper eyelid surgery. My dermatologist informed me he was the best of the best and did amazing work.
I spent time extensively researching surgeons in both Maryland and South Carolina as we reside in both states. I had several consultations with different Doctors and after meeting Dr. Patel, I trusted him immediately. He is very knowledgeable and put me at ease. His staff are incredibly friendly and the office is pristine. I had an easy recovery and am beyond happy with my results. I’d recommend Dr. Patel hands down- especially if you are the nervous side like I was. You won’t regret it.
I rarely rate my medical experiences but I have been so absolutely ecstatic over the care from and results with Dr Patel and his staff that I think it is important to do so this time.
